Carrier oils are a separate sourcing category from botanical essential oils and fragrance oils. Brand owners may use them as cosmetic ingredients, blending bases or finished products with their own approved specifications. PanPan Aroma supports carrier oil inquiries and private label project discussions through partner manufacturers. Start with the exact material and its intended application.
Specify the material and processing
Include the common name, INCI name where available, plant source and any processing preference such as refined or unrefined. These details can affect color, odor, appearance and formulation behavior. If you need a particular grade or certification, state the requirement and request its supporting evidence.
Ask how the proposed supply is identified and controlled. Useful specifications can include appearance, odor, relative density and other tests relevant to that oil and its intended use. Establish your acceptance criteria before evaluating a sample rather than selecting a material by a general product description.
Plan storage and packaging together
Discuss the container size, closure, protection during transit and expected handling after arrival. Bulk supply and finished retail bottles involve different responsibilities and packaging costs. If the oil will be used in a blend or finished cosmetic, review compatibility, stability and label requirements for the actual product.
A supplier's material description does not establish that every application is suitable. Food, cosmetic and other uses have different purchasing requirements. State your intended category and market early; any suitability statement should be supported for the product and purpose in question.
Move from inquiry to a reviewed sample
Send your priority materials, estimated quantity, packaging format and required documents. Ask which current specifications, COA and SDS can be supplied for the proposed items. Additional tests or certificates should be agreed as part of the project.
If you need branded carrier oil bottles or a blend development brief, include the proposed bottle sizes, label needs and launch stage. Availability, order minimums, price and lead time are confirmed for the agreed supply format rather than assumed from another product.
